Boondocking in Sedona

Location: Loy Butte Road in Sedona, AZ. This is definitely going on my list of favorite boondocking spots.

It’s super easy to access (road can get pretty bumpy but nothing to steer you away).
It is close enough to downtown Sedona (about 20 min drive).
It has a Planet Fitness Gym within a 20 min driving distance (for those of you who like to save water and shower at the gym from time to time).

If you want to get to the best spots, you really have to do some driving. When you turn onto Loy Butte Road, you will see many campers near the entrance. This is great if you want to have easy access to the main road back in town but if you want to be more remote, keep driving!

If you go about 6 miles down the road, you will begin to get into the more remote areas of camping, which have the best views and is typically less crowded!

A few other Airstreamers joined me here and we ended up taking over this section with an incredible view!
