The desert is blooming!

If you don’t have plans to get out to the desert soon, I highly recommend that you do. The flowers during this super bloom are absolutely gorgeous. AND if you live in San Diego, you are only 2 hrs from this magical place!

Coordinates to access “offroad” here: 33.310290,-116.226212 (thank you Michael @awesomestfortever) — I would highly recommend 4×4 or all wheel drive. Some of the road is a bit soft and some has deep divots. The drive is super fun and gorgeous. Enjoy!

Where to camp:

There is free camping at Rockhouse Rd. which is super close to the Truckhaven off road access point. The road is a bit bumpy but I managed the 25′ Airstream just fine in this area.
