Standing Desk in an Airstream

As someone who works full time from the Airstream, I got tired of sitting at the dinet table and wanted to find a way to create a standing desk. I spent 3 hours in Ikea (ughh a nightmare) to find a solution.

This desk is not only functional but it is also portable. I can take it down when I am not using it and store it away. Which allows the lounge area to be fully usable when needed (how awesome is that). Also, there were no modifications made to the Airstream… I have yet to drill my first hole, I am holding out on having to do that.

This desk can be purchased for less than $100 and assembled within 15mins (depending on how quick you are at screwing in the screws).

Total cost for desk: less than $125

Total time to assemble: less than 20 mins

I also switched out my tv mount to a swivel arm. This allows me to move the monitor in a position more suitable for the desk. You can purchase the same one I got on Amazon here.  I screwed the base of the tv mount into the exact screw holes of the previous mount, so there were no modifications or additional holds added to the wall.
